Last year, the AUDM staff put on a Fall Festival for the kids from the hospital. All the kids and the staff got acquainted quickly and became fast friends. At the Festival the kids got to enjoy fun games, cookie decorating, face painting and meeting Aubie. The AUDM staff was excited to meet the hospital staff and kids. Everyone looked forward to the next event!
History of Columbus Regional Hospital
Columbus Regional Health Center can be traced back to 1836, where it proudly stood as a small wooden building along the bank of the Chattahoochee River. The hospital was originally established as a non-profit health organization, but it has since then grown and expanded to lead the region in healthcare service. The hospital’s mission is, “to promote the health and healing of our patients,” and the doctors and staff follow this mission very closely. They value their patients and want the best treatment and service for them; hence, the hospital’s vision includes working with not only their patients, but their families as well, in order to serve as an effective steward of health resources.
